NEWS: AKC Canine Partners:
This exciting new AKC program allows mixed breed dog owners to list their dogs and
participate in AKC Agility, Obedience and Rally events starting April 1, 2010. While each club’s participation in the AKC Canine Partners program will remain voluntary, clubs may now choose to allow mixed breed participation at any AKC Agility, Obedience or Rally event. Mixed breeds will compete in the same classes and earn the same titles as their purebred counterparts. |

Here at Leighthouse Kennels our focus is on your needs. We offer a variety of classes in obedience and conformation - keeping in mind the relationship between dog and family. Please check out our links about Dog Training and the services we offer. Private classes, in home behavior consultations and rentable off lead play areas are part of some of the unique services we offer. At this time we do not offer boarding services. Although we are also a show kennel with many successes in the ring , we do not breed or feel the need to add to the pet overpopulation problem. Rather we are committed to purebred and shelter animal rescue.
Leighthouse Kennels is situated on five wooded acres in historic Albion, New York.
Conveniently located between Rochester and Buffalo NY.
Several fenced play areas on five acres! Please visit us and enjoy our dog walking trail too! Fenced areas are rentable for independent training.
