Junior Handling

Junior Handling, also known as Junior Showmanship, in the conformation ring  is a fun and rewarding experience! Canadian shows are particularly kid friendly and even have a "Pee Wee" class for 4-6 year olds! In the U.S. the minimum age is 9. Children learn poise, diligence, teamwork, good sportsmanship and discipline. In Canadian shows participants are also asked dog related questions, some of which are breed specific.
